Mary believes each person is uniquely and divinely designed for a specific purpose on this earth and she is called to create opportunities where people an experience how their stories interconnect with God's story.

She lives this out through writing, speaking and storytelling. Her desire is to encourage, support and uplift others on their journey of self-discovery and empowerment in the pursuit of their own divine purpose.

Mary is a Certified Lay Speaker through the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, a recent graduate of Baptist Theological Seminary's Certificate program in Congregational Leadership. She is a columnist Examiner.com and at for the blog, Life Coaching for Christian Women as well as a member of Richmond Christians Who Write, James River Writers, Story Circle Network and Christian Women Take Root.

Mary and her husband of 34 years have a college age son, a daughter and son-in-law who met while attending George Mason University and two slightly neurotic dogs. She is a voracious reader and a prolific writer and poet.
